Indication:- For intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy.

Dosage and Administration:- Adults: Three tablets to be taken at once.

Contraindications:– History of hypersensitivity to one of the component. Hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency. Pregnancy or breastfeeding woman

Warning: Any intolerance, in particularly any cutaneous, mucous membrane or hematologic symptoms must lead to immediate stop of the treatment, as well as the consultation of a doctor.

Indication:- Treatment of malaria in children caused by all forms of plasmodium including acute uncomplicated malaria caused by drug resistant strains of P.falciparum.

Dosage and Administration: – For infant & Children only:

Dissolve one tablet of zeramal dispersible in a glass containing small amount of water, mix well and give it to the child to drink.

Ensure no pieces are left in the glass, in which case, add a little more water for the child to drink.

Indications:– Artemether/lumefantrine is indicated for the treatment, including standby emergency treatment of children with acute, uncomplicated infections due to P.falciparum or mixed infections including P. falciparum. Because artemether/lumefantrine is effective against both drug-sensitive and drug-resistant P. falciparum. It is also recommended for malaria infections acquired in areas where the parasites may be resistant to other antimalarials.

Dosage: 9 – 14yrs (25-35kgs): 1 Tablet, 8hourly.

Indication:-Artemether/Lumefantrine (pronounced: Are-tem-eth-er/loo-meh-fan-treen) is the medicine used in treating malaria. It is the recommended treatment, including standby emergency treatment of adults with severe, uncomplicated infections caused by P. falciparum or even mixed infections including P. Falciparum.

Dosage and Administration:- 

  • One tablet Stat
  • One tablet 8hrs later
  • One morning & night for 2 days

It is better to take this medicine with food especially fatty meal.

Indications: ZERAMAL is indicated for the treatment of acute uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria, including those caused by multi-drugs resistant strains in children.

Dosage: 6months – 3yrs (5-14kgs): 5ml, 8hourly

4-8yrs (15-24kgs): 10ml, 8 hourly.

Direction and Preparation:- To make 60ml suspension, add 45ml water. Invert bottle & shake until all powder is dissolved, then slowly add more water up to the mark on the bottle.

Use only boiled and cooled water.
