ZERAMAL QS

Indications: ZERAMAL is indicated for the treatment of acute uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria, including those caused by multi-drugs resistant strains in adults.

Used in adults with weight gain of 35kg and above.

ZERAMAL TS

Indications:- 

Artemether/lumefantrine is indicated for the treatment, including standby emergency treatment of children with acute, uncomplicated infections due to P.falciparum or mixed infections including P. falciparum.

Dosage: 9 – 14yrs (25-35kgs): 1 Tablet, 8hourly.

 

ZERAMAL ORAL SUSPENSION

Indications: ZERAMAL is indicated for the treatment of acute uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria, including those caused by multi-drugs resistant strains in children.

Dosage: 6months – 3yrs (5-14kgs): 5ml, 8hourly

4-8yrs (15-24kgs): 10ml, 8 hourly.

Direction and Preparation:- To make 60ml suspension, add 45ml water. Invert bottle & shake until all powder is dissolved, then slowly add more water up to the mark on the bottle.

Use only boiled and cooled water.

ZERAMAL DISPERSIBLE

Indication:-

Treatment of malaria in children caused by all forms of plasmodium including acute uncomplicated malaria caused by drug resistant strains of P.falciparum.

Dosage and Administration: – For infant & Children only:

Dissolve one tablet of zeramal dispersible in a glass containing small amount of water, mix well and give it to the child to drink.

Ensure no pieces are left in the glass, in which case, add a little more water for the child to drink.

MAXIDAR

Indication:- For intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy.

Dosage and Administration:-

Adults: Three tablets to be taken at once.

Contra-indications:-

History of hypersensitivity to one of the component. Hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency. Pregnancy or breastfeeding woman
